About This Item

Ad Donker 1986.. A sound G-VG copy. bookseller's stamp inside front wrap else unmarked.. 146pp softcover. 32 themed selections from easily accessible works that would be readable in their entirety by young people. This selection is intended to act as a stimulus to learners in their last year at school - school leavers - encouraging them to think about the social issues covered and, hopefully, to read the works from which these excerpts have been taken. Questions have been edited to omit or alter references to Britain and thus render them more meaningful to South African learners. The selections themselves are as the original edition and unchanged from the original UK edition.
