Thacker, Spink and Co., Calcutta 1888 3rd edition. In brown cloth bevelled covers with elaborate gilt device on upper board replicating a note from Kipling. Floral endpapers. In very good condition. Corners slightly rubbed. Mild foxing to edges. A few very minor marks. Else a clean and tight copy. Size 7.5 x 5.5 inches 85pp. plus 40pp.cat. Third edition of this collection of poems. Usually regarded as Kipling’s first book. Includes 10 new poems not included in the first or second editions. 'Diana of Ephesus' is included here but in no other editions.
