RETURN TO THE PRINCIPLES OF JEFFERSON!" issued in 1976 by the Citizens Against Legal Tender out of New York City. A single-sheet handbill printed on both sides and measuring 8-1/2" by 11". Distributed during the 1976 Democratic National Convention held from July 12-15 at Madison Square Gardens in New York City. With an illustration of Thomas Jefferson, the handbill demands: ABOLISH LEGAL TENDER! - END THE DEPRECIATION OF THE CURRENCY!
