Paris: Charpentier, 1841. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First Edition, with no marks, underlining, or bookplates. Previous owner's name in ink of second ffep. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true and the corners are somewhat square with moderate bumping, scuffing and wear. Covers are scuffed and worn and quarter leather shows considerable wear with bottom corner leather edges worn off. Interior pages very clean and tight. No dust jacket. This collectible, " GOOD" condition first edition is protected with a clear polyester archival cover. Collectible copy of a scarce French title.
