Melbourne: Presso Ant. Fort. Stella e Figli,, 1828. two volumes in one, bound in full calf, five raised bands on spine, gilt tooled, boards with some scuffing and shelf wear, foxing in text affecting mainly a few leaves in volume 1. Volume 2, which is by Defendete only, deals with ne' Tempi Municipali. Pagination 267, 214. Interesting association copy. There is the signature of G. N. Count Plunkett (father of 1916 Proclamation signatory Joseph Mary Plunkett) on the front pastedown, dated 1910. Also included is a handwritten letter to a colleague from Count Plunkett, dealing with some matters when he was employed in the National Museum, Kildare St. Nice tight copy.. First Edition. Full-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
