About This Item

Oxford: The Voltaire Foundation at the Taylor Institution, 1982. First edition. Hardcover in blue cloth binding. Good without dust jacket. Octavos. Both volumes have light wear and rubbing along edges of boards with minor bumping to heads and heels of spines and some light scuffing to covers. Volume I has heavy bumping on front cover's upper corner and light brown scufff mark on back cover with extensive pencil notes on front free endpaper. Volume II has light brown scuff marks on front and back covers with bumping to upper and lower corners of back cover and sme penciled in numbers on front and back of half-title page. Pencil notes and marks in margins and text of volume I and less so in volume II. 791 total pages with notes, documents, bibliographies, and indices. Text is in French.
