About This Item
Los Angeles [Lunenburg, Vermont]: The Symposium Press [printed at The Stinehour Press], 1979. Limited Edition. Wraps. Fine. Letter I of those lettered A to AA, of a total edition of 300 copies, quarto size, 27 pp., signed by Turner Cassity and Charles Gullans. American playwright and poet Allen Turner Cassity (1929-2009) produced this collection of poems with the Symposium Press; many of the poems seem to allude to his time spent in Puerto Rico where he was stationed from 1952 to 1954, having been drafted into the US Army. They are, however, decidedly non-military and contain a smooth rhythm with his observations of the world he saw around him.
