Blue endpapers and pastedowns. Price of $6.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. First printing of the first American hardcover edition. Ahearn APG 044c. A nice copy of the first Travis McGee novel. A small lean and minor bowing to the front board; jacket has a few hints of rubbing.

Synopsis

The Deep Blue Good-By, book #1 in the Travis McGee series, book #4 in the Crime Masterworks series. This novel introduces the rugged and articulate Travis McGee, a beach bum who comes to the aid of a dancer who lost some precious stones to swindler and serial rapist, Junior Allen.
