Cream cloth over boards, silver medallion decoration on front cover, 291 pp. (however, the verso of each plate is not counted as a page, and only one side of the tissue guard is counted as a page); plates in b & w, tipped in facsimile documents, color plates with captioned tissue guards, quite a handsome book. Top rear corners has a little bit of wear at tip, covers are slightly bowed (do not lie flat) , a small faint stain at top of spine.
