Sacramento: California GPO, 1940. Offprint: pp.278-281, illustrated with two photos of the body and two amateur line drawings (exterior paw; interior stomach). Softbound, semi-glazed nearly alkaline paperstock paste-fastened. Faint toning to outer leaves, very faint edgewear, a nice clean copy. Apparently intact otter corpses are scarce, Fisher is impressed with paw's natural design. Autopsy reveals damage to stomach. Appended, find stats on two earlier similar deaths, dead in the late 1930s. 91843-C.
