Inscribed O Sheel (1886-1954) was an Irish American Poet in his own words "an ardent communist and staunch supporter of the Soviet Union". Housed in a morocco slipcase and in the original mailing envelope addressed by O Sheel. Pomeroy was an artist most famous for her bust of Matthew Vassar founder of the college.

New York: Privately Printed, 1912. First Edition. Original wraps. Fine. 7p octavo. 1 /100 numbered copies this copy #10. A fine copy in gray printed wraps. Pomeroy maintained a salon in her apartment on 86th st. She was an artist famous for her bust of Matthew Vasser founder of the college. Inscribed by O Sheel to Alfred A Halsted of Birmingham, AL and laid in is a 21 line t.l.s. to Halsted selling him a copy of the pamphlet. Laid in also is the original envelope in which the pamphlet was shipped. O Sheel (1886-1954) was an Irish-American poet in his own words "a very ardent communist and a staunch supporter of the Soviet Union". However because he disagreed with Soviet foreign policy many communist publications such as New Masses refused to publish him. Enclosed in a very good green morocco and green cloth slipcase. Scarce
