Robert Hale, 1961. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1961. First GB Edition. 174 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth boards with silver lettering to spine. Noticeable cracking to front hinge, slightly exposing netting. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed. Heavier to text block edges. Minor rust marks with small tears to paper at gutters between pages 72-77. Binding throughout remains firm. Visible brown staining throughout, more prominent to pages 50-7. Stamp marks to rear endpaper and pastedown. Minor pen mark to top edge of front pastedown. Occasional thumb-marking. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Noticeable crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine. Lettering is darkened. Visible wear and ring marks to boards. Book has a slight forward lean.
