The blurb from the dust jacket has been cut out and pasted onto the front endpapers of the book; paste has caused some waviness to free endpaper. Hardcover has black cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering and red spine decorations. Deckle fore edges. Red endpapers. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends lightly bumped and frayed. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Small smudge on bottom page edges at corner. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 656 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box. This item will be shipped with signature confirmation required.
