The first crime novel featuring San Francisco detective Dan Kearney, who meets Donald E. Westlake's amoral thief Parker while looking for one of Parker's associates. This sequence is described from Parker's viewpoint in the novel Plunder Squad (1972), which Westlake wrote under his Richard Stark pseudonym. Octavo. A fine, unread copy in a near fine dust jacket with some mild rubbing to the rear panel.
