Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the colophon-page: "for Jonathan Williams". Laid in is a single-page ALS, 7 February 1975, to Williams: "Though I never came up with a contribution to the Basil Bunting commemoration, he did get into this. (It was something in reference to Bunting's Chomei that I tried to work up for you.) In a way, you, too, are behind my having written this. So, I thank you. Will.
