Some shelf wear to the edges of the blue boards and to the spine ends on the unclipped dustwrapper. Otherwise a not-too-bad copy of this hard-cover novel set among French Army conscripts in Morocco in the 1950s. Originally printed in French in 1957 as ''Une Demi Campagne'', this is the first UK edition. 192pp.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
