Reviews
This series of six books is the absolute best story I have ever read in my life and I am in love with every character. An English spinster, Elizabeth Middleton, comes to the wild mountains of Northern New York and marries a mountain man and has adventure after adventure. In this book they end up kidnapped by the Earl of Carrykcastle because Nathaniel is the last of his blood line by a cousin and needs him to keep his land and holdings from the English. So beautifully written you feel as tho you are in the room with everyone. On the edge of your seat most of the time. Great book
