Previous owners address label neatly fixed to top right of half-title. 114pp. Many b/w and colour illustrations. Loosely inserted is a list of exhibits. This book was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by the British metalworker and product designer, David Mellor (1930-2009) held at the Design Museum London from 29 September to 24 November1998 which then toured to the Dean Clough Galleries, Halifax and the Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield. The book tells the story of a man of extraordinary vision, whose life encapsulated much of the British design history of the last half of the 20th century..
