About This Item
Chicago: Reilly & Lee, 1926. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. None. Volume 6 in "The Radio-Phone Boys Series", which is also known as "The Curlie Carson Series". Bound in green cloth with cover titles in gilt; rules and spine titles in black. 221 pages. Early printing (tall duodecimo 7-3/4" x 5-3/8") with the Snell list at the rear listing only through this title. No illustrations (R&L eliminated the frontispiece after 1925). The cloth shows only light edgewear and exhibits no toning to the paper, which is common in later printings. The rear pastedown has an ink line (for no obvious reason) and an old price; the book is otherwise unmarked. Hinges solid; binding square. A clean, tight copy. Mattson & Davis 47200, format 1.
