About This Item
Paris: Obelisk Press, 1938. 1st Edition . Original Wraps. Good/No Jacket as Issued. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Paper covers are decorative, some chips and a small tear along front spine at the bottom. Overall in good condition. Spine has some fading/soiling. Deckled text block edge. The interior is clean, pages are somewhat yellowed, binding is tight. A rare title, an erotic novel by the English-born pulp fiction writer, about the bohemian life in Paris, opium, and sexual promiscuity, making the book essentially unpublishable in England or America.
