Harper & Brothers, 1933. Hardcover. Very Good - in Very Good - DJ. Book club edition with strong musty smell, blue cloth with wrap around illustration and lettering in green is very good - with previous owner bookplate to front paste down and small spot stain at page edges along with some other light trace wear including already mentioned smell, in very good - jacket that shows some rubbing and soil along with edge wear including some closed tears, mild open chipping at spine ends and a couple of corners. Solid copy still looks pretty good of this story of a gambler was turned into a film of the same title a year later. 295 pages with decorative end papers.
