This early novel of romance is told in three sections of a man's love-life: Spring, Summer, and Autumn. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Red cloth binding with title in blind on front cover (ruled);titling in gilt on the spine. Cl;ean text; 302 pages, with a 16-page tipped-in publisher's catalog in the rear; there is a six-page catalog of Galsworthy's works in the front. Bookplate on front paste-down; owner signature (October 1918) on the FFEP. Offset from a clipping or the like on the Copyright Page. Minor rub at the margins; top a bit dusty; some faint spots on the covers. A sound copy; lacking a dustwrapper. In an archival plastic protector.. First UK Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
