Doubleday, 1953. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 9x6x1. Stated first edition, published by Doubleday, 1953. Hardcover in jacket, price intact on jacket flap. Some light edge wear to jacket, with a few small closed tears and some tiny chips to jacket edge. Jacket verso has some small spot stains, book itself unaffected. Text is clean and unmarked. Binding strong. Light dusting to top page edges. Light edge wear to boards. Jacket now in fresh Mylar. Very good condition. Dark Enchantment is Dorothy Macardle's last novel published during her lifetime. First editions, especially in jacket, are very rare and hard to find. Additional photos available upon request.
