1st edition, with dustjacket. Orange cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. B&w photo of D'Arcy Thompson as frontispiece.
Dustjacket with tears at head and tail of spine and at bottom right corner; rubbed on margins; faded on spine. Boards with large pale stains on front and rear (possibly caused by mildew); mild rubbing on edges; lower front corner slightly bumped. Some staining on front and rear endpapers; pencil price mark on rear free endpaper; a few spots on top edge of text block; pages otherwise clean. Binding tight.
