Richard Lesley & Co, 1947. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1947. First Ed Thus. 195 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth. Contains colour illustrated plates. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Cracks to hinges, exposing netting. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket. Panels have heavy edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Large area of loss to rear panel and spine edges.
