Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. This was the first serious work written by a young (early '20s) Belloc that started him on his path of literary excellence. But this book has most of the benefits of youth (enthusiasm, boisterousness, excitement) with few of the drawbacks (incoherence, nonsense, meandering). EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
