Houghton Mifflin Company. Used - Very Good. 1921. Hardcover. Tall 4to. Green cloth gilt-stamped on front boards, spines. No dust jacket. In acetate covers. x, 260 numbered pp. and vi, 238 numbered pp. Head of text blocks gilt. Rubbing to bottom edges of boards, heads of spines. Light scuffing to boards; small scrape on second volume's rear board. Corners slightly bumped. First volume's front hinge tender, with tear at top corner of f.f.e.p., but firm. Patch of discoloration, presumably from glue, on front pastedown; ghost from paperclip at top edge of front free endpages. Additional patch of discoloration, again presumably from glue, on second volume's front pastedown. Small check mark in ink on pp. 18 of second volume. Else fine. A handsome set with otherwise clean internals, pristine plates. Very Good. (Subject: Architecture & Urban Design).
