Book looks NEVER READ. Book Interior VERY FINE/ Boards Fine / Dust Jacket Good. This book was in a large company library and was signed out only once and looks like it was never opened. Sewn binding. Spine is straight and square. Boards and spine are black varnished cloth, lettering lovely metallic red, lettering on spine, round metallic red design embossed on front. Dust jacket is black, lettering red/white, colour pictorial front. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED but being black it shows many little marks that wouldn’t show on a different colour dj. Dust jacket front flap has a few crease marks at top, flap fold has a 3/4 inch rip at bottom and a 1/2 inch chip at top but paper is in place, front cover has several small places where black is missing and two creases at top. Spine has a small hole cut in it to show the library mark on book spine, has a chip at the top with paper in place and a 1/2 x 1/4 inch chip with paper missing, title on spine is now light orange I don’t know if original was white or red, spine has a small hole with paper in place and general wear marks. Back dust jacket has general wear marks which wore off bits of the black colour, has a few crease marks and some wear on flap fold of back flap. Dust jacket is whole, complete and has no large rips or pieces missing. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one slightly turned corner tip, one lightly bruised corner made a 7/8 inch diagonal mark across corner on outside and made a tiny very faint mark on very tip of corner end paper. Spine has a small cloth professional number label affixed just below author’s name. Boards and spine have no sunning and no edge wear. Page edges look very slightly sunned and are clean and quite bright. Inner end papers are white, front has very small date stamp, small two-line company stamp, a small line of white corrector fluid near top; back end papers have library envelope clean and unmarked, looks unused, and small two-line company stamp. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Full of tables. No photos. The purpose of the book is to provide a single source for quick concise hazard-analysis information about MORE THAN 12,000 common industrial and laboratory materials. Data is categorised into: 1) General information i.e. synonyms, description, formula and physical constants. (2) Hazard analyses including a toxic hazard rating, a fire hazard rating, an explosion hazard rating and a disaster hazard rating.
