New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1915. First Edition (stated). . Hardcover. Good-/No Jacket. Coughlin, John A.. Bound in green cloth with titles stamped in gilt. The front cover carries a 3-1/4" x 5" color applique. First edition, with the (1) on the last page of the text. With four illustrations in color by John A. Coughlin, all present. The cloth shows considerable edgewear and rubbing, with a slightly sunned spine and surface dampstaining to the rear cover, which fortunately did not penetrate beyond. Hinges solid; binding square. Former owner's name in perncil to the front free endpaper, faint foxng to the prelims, otherwise unmarked. This copy still has a decent shelf appearance. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
