Newmarket Press. New York. 1991 Quarter-bound in blue with brown boards and silver lettering to spine. Author signature blind stamped on front board. First edition (stated) with requisite number line ending in 1. Bottom of spine and front board slightly bumped, wear mark (0.25 in) on back board and rear flyleaf. Pages 151-162 are wrinkled from something hot being set on the book. Near fine unclipped ($18.95) jacket has minor shelf wear that is now protected with a removable mylar cover. All proceeds from this edition is being donated by the author to the Mountain Lion Preservation Foundation. Basis for the 1990 movie starring, directed and produced by Kevin Costner. The film was nominated for twelve Academy Awards and won severn, including Best Picture. The film also won the Golden Globe's Best Motion Picture - Drama award. 5.5x8.5 in. 324 pg.
