1970. PIERCY, MARGE. DANCE THE EAGLE TO SLEEP. Advance Review or Proof copy, stapled yellow wrappers, oblong, front wrapper printed in black with title and illustration, a totemic figure. Undated. 232 pages laid out on 116 pages, two columns (pages) on each side. Originally publised in 1970 by Doubleday, the second novel by the feminist poet, novelist, memoirist, and activist. This copy has no publisher information. It is signed by the author on the verso of the front wrapper. Wrappers toned, some creasing. Piercy's second novel, speculative fiction about youth in a dystopian near future society, in rebellion. Scarce format, good condition. $150.00.
