A few of the top edge pages have been carelessly opened. The cover to Volume II, which is in paperback but with a plasticized coating, has a small blemish where a sticker was removed. The books are in very good condition, attractively bound with red and black lettering on the covers. The volumes are Bianquis's thesis from the Sorbonne. Bianquis was a noted scholar on Islam.
