DULKEN PUBLISHER - (LOCATION) / COPYRIGHT: WARD, LOCK, AND TYLER - LONDON, ca. 1880s EDITION: Reprint Edition assumed ISBN: NONE CATEGORY: Decorative, Rare, Famous Engravers BINDING/COVER: Hardback without dust jacket COLOR: BLACK SIZE: 11 x 8 ½ (approximately) PAGES: 822 pages. CONDITION: The outside is in good plus condition; there is mild scuffing to the leather on the corners and at the back hinge area (see photo). The inside has mild age foxing on a few pages. Book is without marks or writings, pages are fairly clean and book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book. Good+/None dust jacket condition as issued. BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION: ENGRAVED BY THE BROTHERS DALZIEL. Very minor foxing on some pages, tight binding, front cover reattached professionally. Minor scuffing to board edges. Marbled endpapers are also a professional replacement - likely to support a once weak spine. Gloriously illustrated. Oversized or heavy volume, additional shipping charges will apply.
