Reviews

On Jun 21 2022, a reader said:
Rollicking, but also slightly tragic. The character’s voices just come across so Real. Halfway through the book I found myself chuckling at what one guy says because it’s just so him.

Really brings the feel of 70s music. The scene where they decide the order of the songs on the album brought a nostalgic wave of memories crashing down on me, of actual record albums, and how repeated listening brought me to the point where when one song ends I already hear the opening chords of the next song.

This may make me want to re-examine that stack of old LPs in the attic…

P. 254 “You know, one of the things you learn in recovery is that self control is the only control we have. That all you can do is make sure your own actions are sound because you can’t control the actions of others.” That’s cool.
