About This Item
New York: William Morrow and Company. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1942. Hardcover in jacket. Hard-bound in black cloth with red stamping on the spine, in a dust jacket with light scuffing/soiling, toning/foxing on the lower panel, and light wear/a few closed tears to the edges. There are a few faint scuffs on the lower cover. The binding is solid and contents are bright and clean. There is a blind embossed previous owner stamp on the title-page, and the very top edge of the rear free end-page has been trimmed off. From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature! .
