Walter Pulitzer was a master of the epigram-- as well as an author, magazine publisher, lyricist & composer of light opera. His uncle was publisher Joseph Pulitzer. Walter Pulitzer's work is uncommon, his autograph especially so. "Cupid's Pack of Cards' is illustrated with a color lithograph on every page.-- in cream, orange & black designs. In excellent condition, 8"x 4"-- 'The Five of Hearts' has a suggestive erasure made to part of the epigram, and a tipped-in correction slip..
