When Kerovan was ten, his father arranged his marriage to Josian, although the two were not to meet until they were eighteen. Meanwhile, invaders came to their homeland by sea overran the kingdom, uprooting the people from their homes and sending them fleeing. Slowly, the two will come back together to journey through the wilderness and save their people. Written by Andre Alice Norton, an American science fiction and fantasy writer who was the first woman to be Gandalf Grand Master of Fantasy and to be inducted by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also very smart with light shelf wear and the odd small mark.
