About This Item

New York: Lyle Stuart, 1965. First edition. Very faint sun to spine; extremities a trifle rubbed, excellent.. 4to, 101pp; original wrappers. One of 3100 copies in the edition, signed and dated by Bukowski at the colophon. Loosely inserted is a separately printed broadsheet, printed on both sides with blurbs about the book obtained from various friends and allies of Loujon Press proprietors Jon and Louise "Gypsy Lou" Webb, including Henry Miller, Kenneth & Miriam Patchen, Jonathan Williams, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Russell Edson, Kenneth Rexroth and others. A book showing the Loujon hallmarks of unusual handset typography, various stocks and colors of paper, and colophonic information of dubious reliability.
