New York: Youth Committee for Peace and Democracy in the Middle East, 1974. Newsletter. Twenty-two issues of the monthly bulletin, 8.5x11 inches, 8 pages each. Postal markings on rear covers, some issues with minor toning or edgewear, otherwise generally very good. Issues present are vol. 1 no. 3, vol. 2 nos. 1-5, 8, 9; vol. 3 nos. 1-7; vol. 4 nos. 1-5, vol. 5 nos. 1, 3. Discussion of Middle Eastern issues from a pro-Israel perspective. The first issue here includes "Challenge to Young Americans" by Bayard Rustin, in which the longtime civil rights leader expresses solidarity with what he describes as the progressive ideals of Israel in contrast to the neighboring one-party states, and rejects the idea that African Americans should automatically side with Arabs in the regional conflict.
