Pen mark to page edges, title page, and dedication page. Text itself is clean and unmarked. Binding strong. Bumps to board edges. Bump to lower page corners, has caused them to "scrunch" a bit. Jacket now in fresh Mylar. Good condition. Additional photos available upon request. Cross Stitch is Diana Gabaldon's original title for Outlander. However, the title was changed in the US (the publishers wanted a more adventurous title and felt Cross Stitch sounded too much like embroidery). The UK publishers liked the original title and its play on a stitch in time, however, the text was edited and differs from the US release. There are several small additions in regards to Frank. Also one particular "bedroom scene" was removed entirely as it was deemed too graphic. A unique edition of the author's first book and the first book in the Outlander series. Rare and hard to find.
