B. Grasset, Paris, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). No Dust Jacket. Foreword and preface by author, bibliography, notes, index of persons and index of figures. Bright yellow coloured end pages. The library has taken the front dustwrapper image and inserted this image to the book following the free front end page. The text is illustrated with maps and figures with the occasional black-and-white cartoon. Dark red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. The text is in French. A look at the rise of anti-Semitism in France between 1880 to 1899 and its contribution to contemporary anti-Semitism. This book is an ex library copy: – from the University of Melbourne Library. Library plate fixed to the front paste-down; library stamp to the verso of the title page, to all edges of the text block; with due back page still in situ fixed to the rear three end page along with library barcode and library sticker to the lower edge of the back strip. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing to the corners, either side of the back strip and to the lower book edges. Age toning of the text block edges and pages.
