About This Item

New York: Random House, 1943. Jane and Alan Blake are invited to tea at the home of an eccentric neighbor, a harpist with a past who favors costumes designed to conceal. When her past catches up with her it results in murder. Spine ends gently bumped, square and solid. Would grade at near fine but for what appears to be bite marks to the lower corner which has badly damaged 1/2" of the lower rear corner. Jacket rubbed with chips and tears, a bit darkened with one title cut out of the list of books on the rear flap, in Brodart.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good.
