About This Item
Craftsbury, Vermont: The Craftsbury Bicentennial Committee, 1990. Book. Illus. by profuse photos of Craftsbury and its celebratory year. Fine. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. A fine copy with yellow card covers, as new inside with no prior owner marks. Surprisingly, there is no quality history of this town, named after one of its founders, Col. Ebenezer Craft. Its first Town Clerk was his Harvard educated son, Samuel Craft. He remained Clerk while he became a Congressman in Washington. Plenty of history in this 93 page commemoration of a full year, 1989. The endpapers are a 1986 map of Craftsbury with businesses and owners of residences noted. .
