Vintage 1918 Revised Edition. Mustard linen boards/Good; strong w/rubs, light soiling/discoloration to edges & surfaces; small losses to leather backstraps. PO names (single owner), prominently to front, and again to spine, upper text edge, & front cover verso. First published in 1908; Jabez F. Cowdery (1834 - 1914). This 1918, 1411-paged Revised Edition is edited by Curtis Hillyer; "A great deal of the matter contained in former editions ... have [been] omitted as obsolete and unnecessary. Many new forms appear here for the first time." Encyclopedic collection of forms prepared as models to be copied/adapted for the use of legal practitioners, including the Torrens Title System (adapted from Australian law) and those pertaining to business trusts known as the "Massachusetts Trust." Strong copy.
