Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout, heavier to front endpapers; text is not obscured. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with some noticeable marks also. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards are slightly warped.
