About This Item

Italy: Electa Editrice. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1986. First Edition; First Printing. Softcover. SIGNED and inscribed on the half-title page by all three artists: Claes Oldenburg, his wife (and artist) Coosje van Bruggen and architect Frank Gehry; very good in blank stiff covers which are wrapped in an artistic dust jacket (now encased in a clear mylar sleeve) ; the jacket has some small chips and cracks to the edges plus a little staining at the bottom of the spine, the book shows a minor corresponding stain at the bottom of the spine otherwise is a tight square unmarked copy in sound binding; first printing with no later statements present; text in English; there is also a small sketch of an open pocket knife (similar to the art on the front of the dust jacket) that we believe to be from the hand of Oldenburg (as it appears just to the right of his signature) ; very scarce with all three signatures; photos on request ; 239 pages; Signed by Artist .
