Very Good, handsomely rebound in brown cloth except for original leather spine, gilt titles and devices, marbled end pages, spine a bit rubbed, prior owner name title page, some marginal genealogical writing and some underlining. With a fascinating trove of 5 pp. of genealogy and local history and with 1895 ribbon commemorating 10th Annual Reunion of the 59th Indiana Vols., which was organized at Gosport and Indianapolis, Indiana on February 11, 1862, and was the first Regiment to report to General Pope for duty with the Army of Mississippi during the Civil War. Also laid in a period photograph of William Travis, who helped compile the book. A truly unique copy of this SCARCE local history. . First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. Thick 8vo.
