Paris, France: The Olympia Press, 1955. Softcover. Good. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Count Palmiro’s Book of Limericks, 207 of them in perhaps half that many pages, printed on various colors of paper, and followed by six pages of Table of Contents. Simple, stiff cardboard covers, lightly soiled and spotted, protected by pictorial paper dust jacket, also lightly soiled with a short, closed tear to top edge. The previous owner, Gershon Legman, has signed "G. Legman 1955" in his inimitable hand inside front cover. Perhaps former light damp-staining, but with signs of neither odor nor moisture, and affecting only the first two leaves.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
