1921. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (New Haven: Yale University Pres; London: Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press 1921). First Edition. Publisher's brown, mottled paper-covered boards with lilac printed label to the front board. Contains 5 engravings on wood by Paul Nash (his first appearance in book form). Each chapter starts with a Paul Nash engraving. There is a foreword by the Author dated August 1921. Pen portraits of 5 Cotswold residents. This copy has a glassene dust wrapper. A VG++ copy in like D/W. Scarce thus. Photographs/scans available upon request.
