(1st) Slightly smaller book, darker brown cloth, gilt lettering near fine on spine, illustrated inside covers and adjacent end papers with Razin the Rebell and a man in chains on a horsecart. Neat ink signature inside top front cover, 321 lightly browned pages, photo sections. DJ in magnificent color depicting Cossack calvary attacking on wide front by Zaccone on front and spine, b/w photo of Hindus on back. DJ has tears and nicks, large near-chip at top back right edge. Fair DJ/Fine book.
